Scarecrow Night Chairs Needed

Chairs Needed for Scarecrow Night!
We’re looking for 1–2 chairs to lead Scarecrow Night on Friday, October 24th.

Chair responsibilities include:
• Collecting participation forms
• Prepping materials for the scarecrows (ie: Building the scarecrows frames, print & laminate family participant names etc)
• Helping with setup the night of the event as well as getting pretzels, water etc.
• And a few other small tasks to keep things running smoothly, as well as clean up.

The best part? The night itself is a blast! Families work together to build scarecrows, and then the kids get to run off and play on the playground.
So grab a friend and chair this fun fall event together—it’s the perfect way to be involved!

Library Volunteers Needed

The McKinley Library relies on a dedicated team of volunteers to help keep the library running smoothly. Volunteers help to check books in and out for our students and assist with shelving as well. If you'd like to volunteer your time in our library, or if you have questions about our library volunteer program, please reach out to our librarian, Ms. Strohecker, at LaurenStrohecker@abington.k12.pa.us. An Abington School District volunteer badge is required to volunteer. Thank you!
